Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal yesterday said that the law enforcement agencies are ready to receive Noor Hossain, the prime accused in the Narayanganj seven-murder case from Kolkata as the Indian authorities concerned has started the process to extradite him.
“We have talked with the authorities concerned of the Indian government for extraditing Noor Hossain, and they may extradite him any time,” he told reporter at his secretariat office after a meeting at the home ministry yesterday.
“You may get updates on extradition of Noor Hossain from the foreign ministry,” he said.
The home minister, however, did not mention in what process Noor Hossain would be extradited. Kamal said, “There would be no barrier to extradite him if the Indian government drops the complaint against him.”
