Ex-adviser to caretaker govt Dhiraj dies

Former adviser to caretaker government Dhiraj Kumar Nath died yestreday at the age of 73. Family sources said the retired bureaucrat breathed his last at 5:55pm at Labaid Hospital in the capital. Dhiraj Kumar Nath was born in the Rafiqpur village of Begumganj thana of Noakhali district.  He was the Additional Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Ministry and Secretary of Rural Develop-ment, and Cooperative Division. He was nominated as an advisor to the interim caretaker government in Oct 2006.
