Poetry album of Gauranga Mohanta to be launched at AFD today

An album of poetry by poet Gauranga Mohanta will be launched at the auditorium of Alliance Francaise de Dhaka (AFD) in the capital’s Dhanmondi area today. The programme has been organised jointly by AFD and CreatSky. Professor Syed Monzurul Islam, Poet and Translator Hyet Saif, Professor Kaiser Haq will attend the opening ceremony today as the special guests. Poet Gauranga Mohanta has been writing poetry for more than thirty years. “Akash O BedonarHarof” is his first poetry recitation album. His first collection of poems, Adhiprantar Jure Chhayasarir (A Shadowy Figure Pervades the Agonized Prairie) and a research work, Robert Frost: A critical Study in Major Images and Symbols have been published in 2009.
