Deed writers’ age limit removed

Law minister Anisul Huq yesterday gave approval of removing the condition of age limit of 65-year for writing deeds. Deed writers from now on can make deed till their capacity as the age limit of 65 years has been removed following the approval.

The law ministry yesterday in a circular said that the directorate of registration office would issue a circular in this regard.

It was mentioned in the law ministry’s circular that there was no condition for the deed writers till 2003.  But, in a circular in 2003 the law ministry had imposed condition that limited their age 65 years and SSC or equal passed for writing deed.

The law minister had earlier at a programme declared to remove the age limit for the deed writers as per their demand. Following the declaration, the law minister has approved the concern file in this regard, according to the law ministry office.
