Forgery in admission at DU
15 students to be suspended

The authorities of Dhaka University are suggested to suspend its 15 students for their alleged involvement in admission forgery. The decision came from a meeting of Disciplinary Board meeting presided over by the VC held in the morning where committee suggested suspending 15 students permanently as they were involvement in admission forgery. Vice-chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University (DU) Prof Akhtaruzzaman confirmed it and saying syndicate committee will take decision about them. Proctor of DU A K M Golam Rabbani said, Now it is in process and they will be suspended permanently in syndicate committee meeting. We will take steps against everyone who are involved in fraudulent.
The suspended students are: Nadvhi Anjum Tonoy; third year student of Department of Geography and Environment Science, Mohiuddin Rana ; 4th year student of Department of Physics also central leader of Bangladesh Chhatra league (BCL) and Abdullah Al Mamun ;2nd year student of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. They are the leaders of fraud syndicate.
The others who are suggested to be suspended permanently are : Nahdid Iftekhar and Rifat Hossain ; student of Department of Political Science, Azizul Hakim; student of Department of World Religion and Culture, Prosenjit Das; student of Department of Sanskrit, Fardin Ahmed Sabbir; student of Department of Health Economics , Rafsan Karim; student of Department of Islamic studies, Akhinur Rahman Anik of Bangla department , TM Tanvir Hasnayen of History department , Md Munsi Sujaur Rahman of Institute of Education and Research ,Nazmul Hasan Nayem of Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies. All are students of 1st year.
