BAU orientation programme held
Mymensingh: The orientation programme to welcome the newly admitted students of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) under 2017-18 academic session was held at the Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin auditorium of the university on Tuesday. Former chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC) Prof AK Azad Chawdhury attended the programme as the chief guest with Students Affairs Advisor of BAU Prof SD Chawdhury was in the chair.
BAU Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Ali Akbar attended the orientation programme as the chief patron while pro-VC Prof Md Josimuddin Khan attended as special guest.
Registrar, proctor, deans of different faculties, hall provosts, teachers, officers, leaders and activist of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of BAU unit, students and many more were also present in the programme. However, the regular classes will be started from January 3 and the hall orientation of the students will also be held in the evening on that day.
