GAZIPUR: A teenage boy was stabbed to death allegedly by driver and helper of a human hauler in Janerchala area of the district on Monday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Shafiq, 16, hailing from Dashmara area in Kurigram. Kaliakoir Police Station sub-inspector Abdul Hakim said Shafiq engaged in a brawl with the driver and helper of the human hauler over fare and at one stage they stabbed Shafiq randomly around 5 am, leaving him injured critically. Sensing danger, the driver and his helper managed to flee the spot leaving the injured beside the road. Later, locals rushed Shafiq to Kaliakoir Upazila Health Complex around 6:30 am where he succumbed to his injuries.
