Jatiya Party Chairman Hussein Muhammad Ershad yesterday urged the party leaders and workers for strengthening the organisation to lead it to go to power, reports BSS. "There is no alternative to the Jatiya Party in the next polls," he told a function at the auditorium of the Institutes of Engineers, Bangladesh on the occasion of its 32nd founding anniversary. Ershad said he would like to see his party in power one again to serve the people till the last day of his life. "So we need to be organised at the grassroots level in the country to reach our goal."
Senior Co-Chairman and opposition leader of the Jatiya Sangsad Begum Rowshan Ershad called upon party leaders and workers to focus successes of the past Ershad government. The function was addressed, among others, by party Co-Chairman GM Kadar, Secretary General Ruhul Amin Hawladar, Presidium members Barrister Anisul Islam Mahmud, Kazi Firoz Rashid and Syed Abu Hossain Babla also addressed the function.
