Bus-covered van collision leaves 5 dead

Five people were killed and 20 others injured in a fatal road accident at Noy Mile on Bogra-Dhaka highway in Shahjahanpur thana of the district yesterday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be known.

The accident took place when a bus collided head-on with acovered van around 4 pm, leaving five people dead on the spot, said Officer-in-Charge of Shahjahanpur Police Station Zia Latiful Islam.

The injured were rushed to Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital.
