Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman yesterday said the government has taken initiatives to reconstruct dilapidated buildings of the 12 government primary schools in the capital. “The ministry of primary and mass education ministry has identified 12 government primary schools for reconstruction in the current fiscal year to bring back a congenial academic atmosphere,” he said.
The primary education minister said this while visiting five dilapidated primary schools in Old Dhaka.
The ministry identified 12 primary schools.
Of them, five are Islamia UP Government Primary School, Muslim Government Primary School, Shishu Rakkha Samity Government Primary School, Faridabad Government Primary School, Banglabazar Government Primary School in Sutrapur.
Seven others are Champatoli Government Primary School in Lalbagh, Mahuttuli Renaissance Government Primary School in Kotwali, Choto Katra Government Primary School, IET Government Primary School, Sarulia Government Primary School in Demra, Kamar Gope Government Primary School and Para Dogair Government Primary School.
