Indian NDC team meets Army chief

A 23-member delegation of Indian National Defence College (NDC) led by Rear Admiral DM Sudan yesterday called on Chief of Army Staff General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq at the Army Headquarters in the capital, reports BSS. They exchanged pleasantries and discussed different bilateral and professional issues and existing training programmes of the armed forces of both the countries, said an ISPR press release. The visiting Indian NDC team also met with the chief of Air Staff and the principal staff officer of Armed Forces Division. The NDC team arrived Dhaka on Sunday on a five-day official tour. They will also visit NDC and different military installations and institutions of Bangladesh. The Indian delegation is scheduled to return home on August 27, the release said.
