Boy killed by lighting

Sherpur: A minor boy was killed by a lightning strike at Lasmanpur Goalbari village in Sherpur Sadar upazila on Sunday, reports UNB.
The deceased was Ahalu Miah, 12, son of Akkel Miah, a resident of the village.
Witnesses said a thunderbolt struck Ahalu while he was cutting grass  in a field in the area amid rain at about 3:30 pm, leaving him dead  on the spot.
Lasmanpur union parishad chairman Minhaj Uddin Minal confirmed the incident.
