3 held with fake notes in N’ganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested three alleged fake currency traders along with counterfeit notes worth around Tk 5 lakh in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj, reports UNB. The arrestees are Md Quamrul Islam, 24, Mohammad Hridoy, 25, and Nannu Miah, 45. Based on secret information, a team of RAB-10 conducted a drive in front of Kanchpur General Hospital and Lab at Jamil Khan Complex on Wednesday and arrested the trio along with the fake notes.
