Ranjan Ram of International Club defeated Akhtar Hossain of Ansar Club 6-3, 7-5, Dipu Lal of Bangladesh Daras outplayed his teammate Mofazzal Hossain 6-1, 6-1 and Milon Hossain of Narsingdi beat Selim Hossain of Manikganj 6-2, 6-7, 7-5 in the other three quarterfinals.
The women’s singles event also reached the last four stages. Afrana Islam Preeti of Narsingdi ousted Shah Safina Luxmi of Ansar Club 6-2, 7-5, Sultana Joly of BKSP downed her teammate Sadia Afrin 6-0, 6-1, Fabiha Lamisa Suchona of NTC beat Rinvi Akhtar of BKSP 6-0, 6-4 and Ishita Afroze of BKSP beat Sumaiya Hossain o Lia of Elie Tennis Club 6-0, 6-0 in the four quarterfinals.
