Three new faces set to make film debut

Much-awaited directorial debut venture of Badrul Anam Soud titled ‘Gohin Baluchor’ is all set to hit the cinemas tomorrow and with the film, three new fresh faces will make their silver screen debut.

DhakaLive has news that young artistes Nilanjona Nila, Abu Hurayra Tanvir and Jannatun Nur Moon will be seen portraying the characters of Nishi, Sujon and Parul respectively in their maiden film.

The film was initially scheduled to release in October but was pushed back to December 29 to be released countrywide. Due to delay of the film’s release, the trio had to wait longer for their debut film to go on the big screen.

Abu Hurayra Tanvir said, “Truly speaking, I’m really excited about the film’s release as well as I’m afraid.”

About working with Suborna Mustafa and Badrul Anam Soud, he added, “Suborna madam and Badrul Anam Soud shadowed us like father and mother, but after tomorrow I will have to walk alone. Don’t know if I will make it or not. But I believe they will always be beside us.”

On the other hand, Nilanjona Nila said, “To get the chance to act in a film and to work with Suborna Mustafa and to be trained by Badrul Anam Soud’s direction is a huge achievement for me. It felt like I’m working with my family. I will miss this family after the film’s release.”

Jannatun Nur Moon said, “It felt like a dream when I began working in ‘Gohin Baluchor’. I just want to say that the family I have found here is my confidence.”

‘Gohin Baluchor’ portrays a love story between a boy and a girl living in a village very near a river. One day a piece of land (Chor) rises from the water. This piece of land was once submerged in the river. The feud between two villages over the ownership of the risen land and the fate of the star crossed lovers will unfold in the film. The story will mirror the longing desires, determined struggles, hope and frustration, personal interest, big or little sorrows and happiness of the villagers.
