Sports Reporter

Bangladesh one-day captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will fly for Bangkok, Thailand for one week today for the treatment of his child.

Mashrafe, 32, himself confirmed the news, stating that he will take off for Thailand to treat his child tomorrow (Monday).

“To treat my child I will go to Bangkok tomorrow. I’ll stay there for just one week,” said Mashrafe Bin Mortaza yesterday.

“After the treatment, I will back home on January 1,” Mashrafe told a few media people at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur.

The preliminary camp of the Bangladesh team for the upcoming tri-national series involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe coupled with a bilateral series against Sri Lanka will start on December 27.
