Man arrested with pistol

MEHERPUR: Police arrested a man with a foreign pistol and four homemade bombs from Sadar Upazila earlier yesterday, reports BSS.

The man was identified as Rihan alias Rahman, 35, a resident at Shampur village.

Officer-in-Charge of Meherpur Sadar Thana Rabiul Islam said on information they conducted a raid at Shampur crop field and held Rihan with the pistol and bombs. Rihan is accused of various charges with Gangni and Meherpur Sadar Thana, the OC added.
