The body of an unidentified man, aged around 35 years, was found in North Sardagonj area of Gazipur city yesterday. Sub-inspector of Joydebpur police station Mohammed Abdul Liton said locals found the youth lying unconscious in a potato field in the area yesterday morning and informed the police. Several injury marks were found in his body. Later, police rescued the youth and took him to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital where on duty doctors declared him dead. Police suspected that miscreants attached the youth with sharp weapons over previous enmity near the bamboo garden in the area. They also suspected that the youth had died of excessive bleeding as the miscreants cut off the tendons of both legs of the youth.
