‘7th March speech was a direction for liberation’

Minister of Industries Tofail Ahmed yesterday said the 7th March speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was a direction for the liberation war, reports BSS from Bhola.

“Sheikh Mujibur Rahman united the whole nation by his speech on that day in 1971” the Minister added.

The Minister was addressing as the chief guest at a discussion on Victory Day-27 at Fatema Khanom College in Sadar Upazila of the district.

Tofail Ahmed said the regimes which came to power after the assassination of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman distorted our national history. “Even the regimes opposed the 7th March speech that has been world heritage, he added.

Moinul Hossain Biplob presided over the discussion while Ali Azam Mukul, MP, Zila Parishad Chairman Abdul Momin Tulu were present. Laptops were distributed among the brilliant students at the function.

Praising Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Tofail said that Bangladesh is being hailed by all for it’s stance on Rohingya people.
