One held with arms in C’nawabganj

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested an alleged arms trader along with two pistols and four magazines from Sonamasjid border area in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj, reports UNB.

Lt Col Rashed Ali commander of Chapainawabganj BGB battalion-59 said, tipped off, a team of BGB members conducted a drive at Tahakhana at night and arrested Mizanur Rahman, 25, son of Humayun Kabir of Baliadighi village, while he was coming from India.

Later, they recovered two pistols and four magazines from his possession.
