Insurance sector moving forward along with economy: Muhith

Finance Minister AMA Muhith yesterday said the insurance sector is moving forward across the country due to the development of economic activities over the years, reports BSS.

“Insurance is a step against risk. We can get a scenario of the country’s economic development from the expansion of the insurance sector,” he said while speaking as the chief guest at an inaugural ceremony of the two-day “Insurance Fair-2017” at Kobi Nazrul Auditorium in Sylhet city.

State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan attended the function as the guest of honour while Additional Secretary of the Financial Institution Division Manik Chandra Day was present as the special guest.
