DU VC for commission to identify conspirators of Aug 15

KHULNA: Vice-chancellor of Dhaka University (DU) AAMS Arefin Siddique here on Saturday called for constituting a commission to identify the conspirators behind the assassination of Bangabandhu and other members of his family, reports BSS. Speaking at a discussion as the chief guest Arefin who is also president of Bangabandhu Education and Research Central Committee, said conspirators involved in the assassination of Bangabandhu and the four national leaders must be identified. Bangabandhu Education and Research Parisad of Khulna organised a divisional gathering at the auditorium of Govt Women College of Khulna.
Terming Bangabandhu the megastar and architect of our Liberation War and independent Bangladesh, DU Vice-Chancellor said the whole life and work of Bangabandhu was for salvation of the Bangalee nation and for building Sonar Bangla. He also stressed reading the life and work of Bangabandhu by new generation. He also said the anti-Liberation rulers in the past destroyed and distorted the real history of Bangladesh and Bangabandhu.
