Meeting on law and order held in Khulna

KHULNA: A divisional meeting on ‘law and order’ was held at the conference room of Divisional Commissioner's Office in Khulna city yesterday to enhance awareness about public safety and  security, reports BSS. Khulna divisional commissioner Md Abdus Samad chaired the meeting. Deputy commissioners and high officials of law enforcement agencies of all ten districts in the division attended the meeting, among others. The meeting has decided to submit propose budget at all respective ministries to set up Close Circuit Camera (CCC) and to enhance observation about security at different government offices. Besides, the meeting also decided for functioning regular mobile court against stalkers and food adulterators under the Consumer Rights Act. It also decided  in stopping three wheelers and battery-run vehicles plying on highways, removing illegal structures at all government lands, stopping entrance of unwanted people at all educational institutions and underscored regular bazaar monitoring for keeping prices of essential products stable.
