Two children accorded reception

The two children Shihab Islam and Liton Ali, who saved a train from possible accident through waving warm clothes on air at the railway track near Jhina village of Puthia, were awarded with the title ‘Heroic Soldier of Saving Train’ (Train Rakhkhar Bir Sainik) by the authorities of railway.

On behalf of Railway Minister Mujibul Haque, a reception was also accorded for the children at Rajshahi railway office yesterday.  Khairul Alam, General Manager of West Zone railway, awarded the two children with the title from railway department. Later, he handed over crests to Shihab and Liton. The parents of Shihab and Liton also received Tk 50,000 each.
