A woman readymade garment (RMG) worker was stabbed to death allegedly by her husband at Kalsi Digir Phar of the city yesterday. The victim was Rasheda Khatun, 30 hailed from Laxmipur district. She worked at a RMG factory at Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CEPZ). AKM Mohiuddin Selim, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bandar police station, said Rasheda used to live with her husband in a rented house at Kalsi Dighi area under Bondor thana. He said police recovered the body from her rented house around 1:30pm. Police suspect that her husband might have killed her as he has been absconding after keeping the house under lock and key since Saturday night.
