Bangladesh team will face real taste today when they will take on India in the SAFF Under-15 women football team in their last league match of  first phase at the Bir Sreshtha Mostafa Kamal Stadium at 11:30am.

In fact it will be dress rehearsal of the final as the two teams have already qualified for the final. The hosts defeated Nepal by 6-0, and Bhutan by 3-0, while India also blanked Bhutan by 3-0 but thrashed Nepal by 10-0.

Bangladesh coach Golam Rabbani Choton while talking to the reporters yesterday after a practice session said that he wants to play a fresh game forgetting all what happened in the past when Bangladesh defeated India in the AFC Under-14 competition twice.

Replying to a query Choton said, “Actually, my explanation is that there is no benefit thinking about the past, we are focusing on the present. Our players played their two previous matches with their full efforts and they will have to continue the run, this is our main target.”

“Obviously our target is to win the match playing and entertaining game,” Choton replied to a query.

About the line up against India, Choton said that they will miss one of the vital performers Tohura as she is suffering from injury. “Tohura had a groin injury, so she will not available today, not only Tohura, some other players are also will not be in the line-up because they are also tired. But right now I can’t tell you the names, it will be decided tomorrow (tomorrow).”

“I have watched both the matches of India, of course we have some thinking with the match, we have also some plans with some of their players, like Santhiya, captain Bannya Kabiraj and Priyanga Devi will be closely marked.”

Meanwhile, Bangladesh and India have already moved into final after winning their respective two matches when the hosts defeated Nepal by 6-0, and Bhutan by 3-0 and India also blanked Bhutan by 3-0 but thrashed Nepal by 10-0.
