3 criminals held with firearms

BOGRA:  Police arrested three criminals and seized two firearms from their possession in Sherpur upazila yesterday at around 9:30am.
 The arrestees are Jahangir Alam, 35, of Katabaria village in Kishoreganj upazila, Sumon, 32, of Basantadolia village in Sathia upazila of Pabna district and Sujan, 30, inhabitant of Gazipur upazila.
 Police said the three on a motorcycle while trying to stop a speeding Bogra-bound truck at Sherpur Bazaar area fell down on the highway.
 When locals came to their rescue, they saw the motorcycle riders carrying one pistol and one revolver with them. They informed it to the local police.
