President leaves for London

President Abdul Hamid left Dhaka for London yesterday morning for medical checkup there, reports UNB.
A flight of Emirates Airlines carrying the President took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:15 am.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, dean of diplomatic corps, cabinet secretary, chiefs of three services and high civil and military officers saw him off at the airport.
Abdul Hamid will undergo medical checkup at Moorfield Eye Hospital and Bupa Cromwell Hospital.
The president is likely to return home on August 31.
