Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim and visiting Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim yesterday jointly inaugurated a 60-bed modern cancer ward at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital in the capital to provide better cancer treatment to patients, reports BSS.
“The governments of Turkey and Bangladesh have established the ward to make world-class treatment facilities available in the country,” Nasim told the inaugural function. Thanking the Turkish government for their continuous support to the health sector in Bangladesh the health minister said, “Turkey has been supporting the country’s health sector since long.
