450 FFs given reception

RAJSHAHI: Marking the country’s 46th anniversary of victory in the Liberation War more than 450 freedom fighters of Rajshahi were honoured through a reception here yesterday, reports BSS. Of them, five are holders of gallantry award Bir Protik. Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) organised the reception ceremony on its office premises. RCC Mayor Musaddeque Hossain Bulbul, who was present at the programme as chief guest, distributed crests and gifts among the freedom fighters. Freedom Fighters Advocate Abdul Hadi, Durul Huda, Rezaun Nabi Dudu, Saidur Rahman, Nazrul Islam and Matiur Rahman also spoke on the occasion. RCC Chief Executive Officer Shah Mumin chaired the function.
