Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) yesterday conducted an eviction drive in the capital’s Mirpur residential area and removed unauthorized portion of a number of buildings and fined Taka 23 lakh, reports BSS. A mobile court of RAJUK, led by its executive magistrate Khandakar Oliur Rahman and authorised officer of Zone-3 Md Mobarak Hossain conducted the drive at Mirpur Section-10 yesterday morning and fined Taka 23 lakh for building illegal construction on the ground floor, car-parking and shops in separate holdings there. RAJUK Assistant Authorized Officer Rohan Mandal and other officials were present in the operation, saying the drive will continue.
