Navy to clash with Army in final

Title spirants Bangladesh Navy will clash with Bangladesh Army in the final of Victory Day Basketball Tournament today Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium. The match will start at 9.30am.

Navy downed BGB 74-51 in the first semifinal yesterday with the winners were leading by 52-30.  Soheb with 33 was the top scorer for Navy. Rashed followed him with 15. Morshed (19) and Zia (11) were the two leading scorer for BGB.

Army defeated Bangladesh Air Force 54-34 in the second semifinal after leading the pre-breather session 26-15.  Wadud netted 10 points for Army, while Tanveer with 17 was the top scorer for BAF.
