Whether Bangladesh could appoint a new coach ahead of the New Year, is a matter of concern but the players will be back to their regular business as the practice camp for the upcoming Tri-nation ODI series and Test series against Sri Lanka, begins on December 27.
The Tri-nation series involves Zimbabwe also, apart from hosts Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and all of the matches of the series will be held in Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) on January 15 and the final on January 27.
The tri-nation will be followed by the two-match series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka with the first Test from January 31-February 4 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. SBNCS will host the second Test from February 8-12.
The ‘Home of Cricket’ will also host the first T20 match between the two teams on February 15 after which the second and final T20 will be held at Sylhet on February 18.
