Dhaka Dynamites, the defending champions and finalists of ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), handed over a Taka 1,00,000 donation to the Cultural Affairs Ministry on Monday morning to support the beautification and maintenance of the historic Lalbagh Fort in old Dhaka, according to a press release. The donation reflected the franchises’ ongoing commitment to social and cultural causes within the city of Dhaka and followed the team’s recently completely festival match at the historic 16th century Mughal fort.
The donation was handed over to the Archaeology Department by Dhaka Dynamites Team Manager Azam Iqbal and Logistics Manager Saiful Islam Bhuiyan to the Minister of Cultural Affairs Asaduzzaman Noor MP.
Dhaka Dynamites has been owned by Beximco Group, one of Bangladesh’s leading private conglomerates, since 2015.
