Asian Games Fun Run held in the capital

Ahead of the Asian Games of Jakarta 2018, Bangladesh Olympic Association organised a Fun Run, the long tradition of the Asian Games yesterday in the capital.

With the participation of two delegations from the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), the rally  took place with great enthusiasm with the participation of more than 500 sports men and women and sports organsiers.

The Fun Run, led by Syed Shahed Reza, secretary general of the BOA, started from the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) premises at 7:30am and ended at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.

After the run, every participant was given certificates when the OCA delegates Jeans Zhou Jian (media manager OCA)and international relations official Elena Chakarova distributed the certificates.

The BOA vice-president Bashir Ahmed Mamun, co-ordinator of the Fun Run organising committee and the BOA deputy secretary general Asaduzzaman Kohinoor and Ashikur Rahman Miku and the BOA executives were also joined in the run.
