Former Bangladesh Ambassador to Vietnam Maroof Zaman reportedly went missing yesterday, reports UNB. Maroof's daughter Samiha Zaman filed a general diary with Dhammondi Police Station in this regard, said officer-in-charge of the police station Abdul Latif. According to the GD, Maroof came out of their Dhanmondi residence around 6:30pm to bring her daughter from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. However, he neither went to the airport nor returned home. Police recovered his private car which he was driving from the 300-foot Road in an abandoned condition, the OC said.
