UN resident coordinator meets Speaker

The new Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Bangladesh Mia Seppo today met with the Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her office in the capital, reports UNB. During the meeting, they discussed various issues including, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, law enacting process in the parliament, women empowerment and training activities of parliament secretariat staff, said a press release.
