Paramilitary Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) yesterday seized three improvised pipe guns, 32 different types of explosives raiding an abandoned zamindar house at frontier Madhabpur upazila here, reports BSS from Habiganj.
BGB officials said they found the weapons at the rooftop of the dilapidated house Dharmaghar village under Madhabpur upazila during the raid carried out on a secret information.
“We suspect the weapons and explosives belong to any extremist or militant outfit,” BGB’s Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Sajjad Hossain told newsmen.
Policemen later joined BGB personnel in defusing the explosives at BGB’s Madhabpur camp.
