National Junior TT kicks off tomorrow

South Bangla Bank Ltd 3rd National Junior Table Tennis Championship will be held at Dinajpur district gymnasium from tomorrow. The five-day tournament, organized by Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation (BTTF), will end on August 27.
Players of under-18 years are eligible to take part in the tournament. Six events have been included in the tournament. The event are: Boys’ team, girls’ team, boys singles, boys’ doubles, girls’ singles and girls’ doubles. The BTTF has prepared a budget of Tk 8.50 lakh to run the tournament. Out of which the sponsor South Bangla Bank has provided Taka eight lakh and the rest of the amount will be spent from the federation’s own fund.
Twenty-five teams have confirmed their participation in the boys’ team event, while 17 teams will take part in the girls’ team event.
