Leaders of the Federation of the Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) yesterday expressed deep shock at the death of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Annisul Huq, reports BSS.
In a condolence message, FBCCI president, first vice president, vice president, directors and leaders of its district chambers and secretariat recalled with profound respect the contributions of Annisul Huq to the development of Dhaka North City Corporation area and FBCCI.
They also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
DNCC Mayor Annisul Huq, who had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in London, passed away there at 4.23pm (London time) on Thursday.
