Two students stabbed in Sylhet

SYLHET: Two students of an educational institute were stabbed alleged by two other students of the same institution in Baluchar area of the city on Thursday night as they had refused to join a faction of local Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) unit, reports UNB. The victims were Jahan, 14, and Shayek, 15, students of class IX and X respectively of Scholars’ Home School and College. Local sources said HSC students Nazmul and Shahed of the college section of the same institution had earlier forced Jahan and Shayek to join the BCL faction they belong to. But as the duo refused, Nazmul and Shahed swooped on them and stabbed them at 8pm.
