1 dies for wrong treatment

A 45-day-old child died due to wrong treatment at Matlab Health Complex yesterday. She was identified as Samia, daughter of  Hasan and Ayesha Akter. Ayesha took her  daughter to the health complex on Wednesday noon and she was immediately given a vaccine by  Staff Nurse Rasheda Begum at the hospital. Early in the next morning, the child was declared dead by a doctor. On hearing the incident, local UNO Farhana Islam formed a three-member committee to investigate the matter. Civil Surgeon Rathindranath Majumder  told the reporters that due to pushing of a wrong vaccine, the child died.
