Ankhi and Anushree perform Tagore songs at AFD

Ankhi Halder and Anushree Bhattachariya, two talented students of eminent singer Rezwana Chowdhury Bannya and Pijush Barua, performed at an event titled ‘Tomari Nam Sokol Tarar Majhe’ (Your Name Amidst All the Stars) at Alliance Française de Dhaka (AFD) in the capital on Friday.

A student of doyens like Rezwana Chowdhury Bannya and Pijush Barua, Ankhi Halder is an award-winning enlisted musician of Bangladesh Television. She has performed at numerous prestigious venues at home and abroad (such as Germany, Czeck Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Indonesia, and India). She is currently teaching music at Shurer Dhara, a school of music in Dhaka.

On the other hand, Anushree Bhattachariya, also a student of Rezwana Chowdhury Bannya and Pijush Barua, is a Bangladesh Betar and BTV enlisted musician.

The event was moderated by Pijush Barua.
