4 professional car thieves held in Ctg

Detective’s branch of police in a separate drives detained four members of professional car thief’s gang and seized three private cars and five micro buses from different part of Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar district early yesterday. The arrestees were identified as Yusuf Prakash Ishak (60), Liton Sen (34), Haider Ali Prakash Manju (34) and Nurul Alam (23). Additional Deputy Commissioner of DB Police (ADC-West) AAM Humayun Kabir said, “Acting on a tip off we nabbed them from different parts of those district and seized three private cars and five micro buses. They used to steal such kind of car from different district. After that they change the chassis number of those cars for selling.”  “The original syndicate of the gang has about 15 to 20 people. We already got the names and addresses of 11 people. We are trying to catch them,” said Humayun Kabir.
