Baby Surayya of Magura, who was hit by a bullet when in her mother’s womb, was released from hospital in a healthy condition today after 26 days, reports BSS.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim was there on the occasion of formally handing over the child to her mother, Nazma Begum. The release certificate was given to her father, Bachchu Bhuiyan.

She said “I haven’t seen Bangabandhu but I’ve seen his daughter, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. It is because of her that my child has recovered. She has taken responsibility of my child. My natural mother has died, she is my mother now.”
