World Archery Congress today

The Congress of World  Archery will be held today at a hotel in the capital to elect a new committee for the next four years. All delegates of different Asian countries have already arrived in the city. Bangladesh Archery Federation president Lt Gen (Mainul Islam and general secretary Kazi  Rajibuddin Ahmed Chapal will contest in the elections for the two vice-president posts. In fact the World Archery Federation is being dominated by the Asian nations and this time the leaders of Asia will also run the world body. Apart from them eight member of BAF will also contest for becoming members of different subcommittee. The congress is being held on the eve of 20th Asian Archery Championship which kick off tomorrow at Bangabandhu National Stadium min the capital.
