Group exhibition ‘Nature Quest’ extended till Nov 30

Group art exhibition on printmaking titled ‘Nature Quest’ by 16 artists has been extended till November 30 at the Gallery Cosmos in the capital’s Mohakhali area. Began on November 10, the exhibition was supposed to end on November 23. Spanish Ambassador to Bangladesh Álvaro de Salas, eminent artist Samarjit Roy Chowdhury and avid art collector Durjoy Rahman Joy inaugurated the exhibition on the gallery premises. Gallery Cosmos organised the printmaking exhibition of artworks derived from a six-day printmaking (Etching/Intaglio) workshop conducted by renowned Bangladeshi artist Rokeya Sultana and Uttam Kumar Basak, India, from November 3 to 8 at Cosmos Atelier, Cosmos Centre, Malibagh.

The participating artists are-- Rokeya Sultana, Uttam Kumar Basak, Rashid Amin, Anisuzzaman, Nagarbasi Barman, Ashraful Hasan, Sujit Sarker, Md Boni Adam, Palash Baran Biswas, Farzana Rahman Bobby, Sourav Chowdhury, Nadia Yeasmin, Juton Chandra Roy and S M Ehsan.

In this exhibition, total 45 artworks are being displayed at the exhibition. Twenty nine exclusive etching print of Uttam Kumar Basak are being showcased in the exhibition.

The exhibition will remain open to all every day from 12pm to 8pm until November 30.
