Yunnan unveils new high tech at Shenzhen expo

The 19^th China International High-Tech Fair opened recently at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Yunnan demonstrated its muscle in the fields of biomedicine and health, unveiling 48 high-tech achievements in six categories. These included advanced equipment manufacturing, the development of new materials, electronic information systems, plateau agricultural practices, energy saving and environmental protection. The achievements span 52 key investment projects. Smart telemedicine platforms, cutting-edge liquid metal technologies and an underwater frogman carrier were the highlights of the Yunnan Pavilion.
