Two unidentified pedestrians, including a woman, died early yesetrday as a double-decker BRTC bus ran over them in front of the VVIP gate of the Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport in the capital, reports BSS. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Airport Police Station Kamal Uddin said the bus hit them while they were crossing the road around 11:30 pm. They were rushed to Kurmitolla General Hospital where doctor declared them dead in the early yesterday. A hospital source said the deceased man, was about 40 years old while the woman, was about 35 years old. The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital at about 9 am yesterday morning. Police seized the bus and detained the bus driver, the OC added. Details could not be known immediately. A case was filed in this connection.
