CHITTAGONG: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested two alleged Yaba traders, including a female person with 25,000 Yaba tablets from Mozzair Tek area under Karnaphuli thana in the city on Thursday night.
The arrested were identified as Moyna Bibi, 35, wife of Selim Reza, hailed from Dighalkandi village of Puthia upazila and Bulbul Ahmmed, 20, son of Ezazul Haque of Poba upazila in Rajshahi district. Based on secrete information a team of Rab-7 raided a 'Desh Travel Paribahan' bus from Cox's Bazar around 11.30 pm and recovered the tablets from box of a chair, a RAB press release said . A case filed with Karnaphuli Police Station in this connection. The arrested persons were handed over to the Karnaphuli thana police.
